Wikipedia doesn’t scratch the surface!

Here’s how Wikipedia defines a Booster Club:  ”A booster club is an organization that is formed to contribute money to an associated club, sports team, or organization. The clubs are generally run and organized by the parents of the students in the supported organization. Fundraisers are often held to raise money for supplies or equipment that the students may need or for trips that the students may need to take.”      Hmm,  accurate yes, but bland too!  Where is mention of  cooking 19 pans of lasagna, driving to 4 different stores to get the perfect shade of purple for the decorations, holding the car wash in the drizzling rain,  staying up until midnight organizing the supplies and then can’t sleep because the list keeps running through your head….   If this sounds familiar then this forum is for you!  Share your Booster Club Mom experiences- the good, the bad and the funny! Do you have any helpful hints to share?  What worked great?  What are some watch outs? Any super fund raising ideas for your club?  Looking forward to hearing from you!
